If anyone is looking for a new Cadet fuel cap, Culver actually used a cap from the Ford Model T, model years 1924-1927. I just bought one and it's an exact match. Here's where I got mine: http://www.modeltford.com/item/2901BQ.aspx (http://www.modeltford.com/item/2901BQ.aspx)
This one has the correct inner baffle as well as the vent hole. Remember that you have to have the vented model. I think there are some available on the Model T aftermarket that aren't vented.

I believe Culver modified these by adding additional vent holes. As I recall, Culver required 3 holes in the top of the cap. I think the original caps also had two or three holes in the bottom of the cap.
