While my fuselage is on its side I am doing a dry run with my fuel tank. Are people still using the Model a style shutoff or is there something more modern or lighter? Is the o ring for the gauge available ? Has anyone ever used paint remover on the aluminum tank?Did the filler neck have an o ring as well where it goes through the fuselage? Thanks Craig

Here's a link to the seals for the fuel gauge: http://r.ebay.com/7zWsPc (http://r.ebay.com/7zWsPc)

You'll need to improvise a seal for the fuel filler neck.  If you don't seal this area, any overflow when refueling will run into the cabin.  Here's a link to a product on the Aircraft Spruce website that may work: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/valcosealant.php?clickkey=4275 (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/valcosealant.php?clickkey=4275)
