Thanks for the help. The airplane is sold. Or at least they are to pick it up and sign papers this Friday.

Lost medical, need room in the hangar. N20U must go. There is a photo on this web site of the airplane in front of my hangar. The airplane was flown this past summer. Extensive rebuild on the airframe and C85 engine. Price $10,000. I hope to find it a good home. Call Joe Maridon at 702-375-0048 for more info and pictures.

I am looking for information on the throttle/landing gear interlock. I have the illustrations in the Culver manual and I can fabricate the parts for the carburator end of the system. I do not have any information on how the push-pull flexible control attaches to the locking push pull rods other than the manual refers to a connection in the right wing. I plan to use a teflon lined push pull control so it should operate very smooth.
If anyne has any original parts, pictures of the installation or parts, sketches, descriptions, etc. it would be helpful. I can adopt something to do this but would prefer to keep it as original as posible.

My name is Joe Maridon in Las Vegas, NV. I am currently restoring Culver Cadet LCA, S. N. 458.  This was the last Cadet built by the factory and the factory originally kept it to test various propellers. The aircraft currently is registered as N20U and has a C85 engine. The airframe is almost ready to go and I am currently going thru the engine. My back ground is mechanical engineering and machine shop superintendent. I have my A&P and hold Inspection Authorization. I also own a Waco UPF-7 that I rebuilt in the early 90's. The Waco is now based in our hangar on Felts Field in Spokane, WA. That gives me room to work on the Culver here in Las Vegas. I am retired so I have lots of time to work on the project.
Thanks Bill for getting this forum going. I am sure it will be a lot of help in restoring and maintaining our Culver Cadets.

My project does not have this hydraulic snubber. I have read the various reports of it leaking and not being reliable, however I would prefer to have one installed. It looks like an easy assembly to duplicate which enough information. Is anyoneone willing to disassemble one and make a few shetches or lend me one so I can duplicate it. I am sure I can also come up with a better seal to eliminate the leaking problem.
