Culver General Discussion / New Culver Cadet Owner
« Last post by Louis Hudgin on March 29, 2020, 01:45:03 PM »
Hello I'm Louis Hudgin from Gilbert, AZ. I just purchased a long dormant 1940 Culver Cadet LCA N29295 s/n 164. It has been stored at the Goodyear airport in the Phoenix area since 1977. I keep my PIPER Arrow at Chandler and will disassemble the Culver and move it in with the Arrow. I see on the FAA sight there are a couple other Culvers in the PHX area. I'd like to meet those owners and any others that may be coming through the PHX area.

I have a continental C125 on a motor mount and nose bowl that was described as a Dart GC setup. I got it for the continental parts, but don't want to destroy the integrity of the unit if it has value to a Dart collection. Have pics.  Northern California

Congratulations Kevin,  I have over 1700 hours in the original Monocoupe Model "G" predecessor to the Dart and pictured on this site.  It is powered by a Lyc 150 and is a great flying airplane.   Post some pictures of your project.    Tim

Hello All,
I just purchased a Dart project from California. So excited about this because it is the actual first airplane I ever flew in back when I was a kid in 1977. N20915 GK24 1939. Has an O-290-D. I'm looking forward to this restoration! ;D

Culver General Discussion / Culver Cadet 2020 80th Reunion!
« Last post by JoeB on July 26, 2019, 12:09:39 AM »
Hello Everyone,
We are planning an 80th reunion for the Culver Cadet at Antique Airfield in Blakesburg IA (IA27).   The exact date is not yet set but this is coming up quick in 2020!
All Culver’s and close relatives will be encouraged to join us (Culver PQs, V, Dart, Helton Lark, experimental STF, etc)
Please share the word with any Culver owners and enthusiasts you know.  Please also pass along this information especially to owners in the West coast as I don’t have many of the current owners out there in my records.
We are looking for all airworthy, or close to airworthy, Cadets so please reach out to your local museums and scrounge around your airports to find those Cadets! The more the merrier, this will be a great event!!!
Please message me with contact information and N# or S/N to be added to the mailing list.
Updates to follow!
