Culver General Discussion / Culver Cadet 2020 80th Reunion!
« on: July 26, 2019, 12:09:39 AM »
Hello Everyone,
We are planning an 80th reunion for the Culver Cadet at Antique Airfield in Blakesburg IA (IA27).   The exact date is not yet set but this is coming up quick in 2020!
All Culver’s and close relatives will be encouraged to join us (Culver PQs, V, Dart, Helton Lark, experimental STF, etc)
Please share the word with any Culver owners and enthusiasts you know.  Please also pass along this information especially to owners in the West coast as I don’t have many of the current owners out there in my records.
We are looking for all airworthy, or close to airworthy, Cadets so please reach out to your local museums and scrounge around your airports to find those Cadets! The more the merrier, this will be a great event!!!
Please message me with contact information and N# or S/N to be added to the mailing list.
Updates to follow!

Culver General Discussion / Culver Cadet videos
« on: August 17, 2012, 06:19:24 PM »
Not the best quality (video or flying!), but I posted some videos of my home field from a couple months ago.
These were recorded using an iPhone4 and a simply suction cup mount.
Enjoy!

Culver General Discussion / Cross Country Trip Ideas
« on: May 18, 2012, 11:35:52 PM »
Since picking up the Culver on Feb 17th I have enjoyed 49.9 hours with it.  The big trip was obviously bringing it home from Idaho (~24hrs), Sun-N-Fun was another 11 or 12hrs, and the rest just local flying.
I'm looking at my calendar and trying to find another decent trip for this year.  Oshkosh is on the list, if I do I'll probably stay for the week. Other than that, does anyone have a local fly-in they would recommend (and why)?
Love to see some other Culver owners out there!

Maintenance and Repair / Factory plans/drawings?
« on: February 21, 2012, 09:14:16 PM »
Hello everyone,

I have a Piper PA20 project and have found that the factory drawings CD from the Short Wing Piper Club has been a great resource for repairs and/or product knowledge.

Are there factory drawings available for the Culver Cadet?  If so, having these available would be a great asset to the community.

Culver General Discussion / New Member Poll
« on: January 01, 2012, 10:53:45 PM »
Hello Everyone,
I thought I would start a poll so we could all get a chance to introduce ourselves, where we live, and what Culver we are working on and/or flying.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone so let's get it started!
My name is Joe Burley and I live in Atlanta, Georgia.  I just purchased Cadet LFA #246.  It is currently out in Idaho and can't wait to bring it home!  I voted that it is 'flying' even though I have not yet flown it :-)
