I have one .Its apart but is in good shape.Hopefully flying next year. Can we find out how many exist still flying or not? What would be the easiest way? I am new to Culvers but have always liked them. Are there a hundred flying or in restoration? Craig

Hi Craig,
It would be interesting to know how many are out there, as projects and/or flying.  I have wondered this myself
I can tell you that my Cadet has been a lot of fun, I spent about 60-70 hours in it last year.  Haven't spent much time at the airport this year (our new 4 month old has my attention right now).
Best Regards,
Joe

Hi Craig,
I did a big trip bringing it home from Idaho, a trip to Florida, and lots of local flights (I'm in the Atlanta area).
They are great fun, you will enjoy yours I'm sure!

Thaea were 133 Cadets on the FAA registry (as of 2/ 2012).

My guess is that there are maybe 60 to 75 that are airworthy.

No kidding Paul,That is very encouraging.Do you think the bulk of them are LFA's? As a side are Eisman mag parts available? Glad to join the Culver community. Craig
