4 hours and not done yet, trouble with aft spar attach bolt clearance to fuselage skin, hopefully trimmed and done this week.  3 bolts per side, and not a lot of wiggle room.

My support stands are built, hoping to mount the wings soon.  Any words of wisdom to make it easy on my helpers?  It seems like I need an engine hoist and three people holding the wing and one inserting bolts.  Anything else?

Will you post the dimensions (height/length) of your saw horses?  I am almost ready to mount my wings and want to get the height of my horses right.  Thanks,

Thanks Bill,
Looked for a handle for a long time, then spent about 10 bucks at aircraft spruce and found a handle hiding in a block of aluminum.  If I polish the old one, you might not be able to tell the difference.

Does any one have a horizontal stab fairing from a Cadet that i could get a picture of, or pattern off of?  It is the forward fairing that wraps around the leading edge and extends to around the rudder horn area on top of stab.  Thanks.

Getting ready to paint, using the Stewart System.  Have almost everything to finish, except time!
My tank strap attach brackets are weak too, wondering if you had a wing rotate method to paint it or just did it one side at a time.

Are  the holes in question part of the wood wing or the steel "truss" center section in the cabin?
You can download the FAA pub. AC43.13 and probably find ways to fix either issue.  That is where I would start.

Never could find a replacement solution.  I ended up cleaning up the broken end, which reduced the length about 2 inches and re-installed it.  It appears that there may have been some "manufacturing variance" and the exact length is not critical.  Thanks for your help.
